Q. How do I find impact factors for journals? (Journal Citation Report)
Web of Science's Journal Citation Reports is an excellent source for finding information about journal rankings. Follow the directions below to find impact factors, Eigenfactors, and Article Influence Scores for a specific journal or all journals for a discipline:
1. Go to Web of Science
To get to Web of Science and its Journal Citation Reports, click on the tab marked "Articles & Databases" on the library's homepage (http://lib.auburn.edu/) and scroll down the alphabetical listing of databases until you find Web of Science. If you're off-campus, at this point you'll be prompted to log in with your Auburn username and password.
2. Go to Web of Science's Journal Citation Reports
Once you're in Web of Science, you'll want to click on the tab on the top of the page that says, "Journal Citation Reports", click that link.
On the page that appears after clicking on "Journal Citation Reports" you can search for a specific journal title or search for journals in a particular discipline by clicking on "Select Category," selecting a discipline, and then pressing "Submit."
